all the mindless chatter of:

“his God”, and hers
What is the point of this worship
if it is tainted with a painful curse

Sublime shines the morning sun
against every runner’s outer wear
with purpose they stride into daylight
one foot after another;
Does it matter whether a hijab wraps her hair?
is it of meaning to you or me
If this old man goes out to eat
wearing a traditional head piece?

Why shun; when we could celebrate
why poke fun at originality
Who is a human being to delegate?
imperfect; we are

confused
